It was our pleasure to recently host an industry lunch in partnership with The Urban Developer.

Titled: Victoria, On The Move, But Where To?, the discussion was focused on how to navigate the many constraints confronting Victoria’s development sector and restore much needed confidence in Victoria as a premier destination for people and investment. Despite the weight and number of challenges confronting the industry at present, the prevailing consensus around the room was that Victoria remains poised to rebound and rebound strongly when the tide does turn.

Our Managing Director, Adam Kaye, highlighted during the discussion that moments in cycles like these present great opportunity for capable and entrepreneurial developers who can see through the haze and deliver the right product at the right price in the right locations. With capacity in the construction sector improving, population growth still strong, full employment and relative affordability in Victoria’s real estate sector, all essential elements for a rebound are fundamentally in place.
