IDA’s Chief Investment Officer Robbie Fallon recently joined project sponsor Esprit de Vie to mark the topping out of their flagship retirement living project located at Mermaid Waters on the Gold Coast.

Commenting on the milestone, Mr Fallon remarked, “With the number of Australians aged 65 and over forecast to double over the next 40 years, IDA continues to explore alternative accommodation solutions and operating models for these changing demographics in various locations. The EDV project team is delivering the project in a challenging construction environment, yet the sales results demonstrate how critical it is to continue the supply of this and all other types of residential accommodation to meet current let alone forecast demand”.

The project is being constructed by Stokes Wheeler and IDA is proud to be the principal capital partner and exclusive financial arranger for the project, enabling Esprit De Vie to focus singularly on its mission of delivering “later living beyond expectations”.
