We were delighted to attend last Friday’s sod-turning ceremony to mark the start of construction at East Village Sunbury; a new Woolworth’s anchored ~9,250sq.m. neighbourhood retail shopping centre to be delivered in partnership with community focused developer Birchmore Group.

Designed by leading architectural practice Genton Architects and to be delivered by experienced commercial contractor, Mainbrace Constructions, on completion, East Village Sunbury will provide vital new retail and civic infrastructure to Sunbury’s fast growing community comprising a full-line 3,800sq.m. Woolworths supermarket, swim school, Anytime Fitness gymnasium, Priceline pharmacy and medical centre in addition to a vibrant food and beverage precinct and community plaza.

A centrepiece of the broader Kingsfield community currently being developed in partnership with Moremac Property Group, East Sunbury Village has been designed as a series of inter-connected spaces catering to connection and social interaction, delivering walkable convenience where people can come together at any time of day or night.
